Biography
Trained at the Africa Foot academy in Bamako, Ibrahim Diarra, nicknamed 'Kakà', captained Mali U17 at the 2023 U17 World Cup in Indonesia (5 goals, 4 assists, Silver Boot, third place). FC Barcelona agreed a deal with Africa Foot in 2024 and officially added him to Barça Atlètic on 17 December 2024, five days after his 18th birthday, on a contract to 30 June 2028. He scored twice in the 2025 UEFA Youth League final (4-1 v Trabzonspor) and was called up by Mali U23 in 2025. Reports disagree on the fee paid to Africa Foot (EUR 1.5m to 2.5m).
